AestheFill® (PDLLA)

AestheFill's poly-DL-lactic acid is an injectable filler for therapeutic use, suitable for correcting nasolabial folds and facial depressions. It improves skin texture problems while stimulating the growth of collagen and elastic fibers.

It is a new form of poly-DL-lactic acid (PDLLA), a polymer extracted 100% naturally from corn, potatoes, and the like. With high tissue compatibility and biodegradability, it can be absorbed by the body on its own, filling depressed areas of the skin, improving wrinkles, and sculpting the whole-face contour three-dimensionally. It is a long-lasting collagen stimulator.

Its main ingredient is PDLLA (poly-DL-lactic acid), whose microscopic structure is a "hollow porous sphere":

• Porous scaffold: The interior of the microsphere has countless micropores that, like "scaffolding," attract fibroblasts into the sphere where they continuously secrete collagen.
• Natural support: This inside-out regeneration approach avoids the displacement or stiffness common with traditional fillers, making post-treatment touch and expression extremely natural.

• Day 1: Immediately after injection it replaces lost collagen, providing initial volume support and an instant plumping, full effect.
• Weeks 1–2: Water is absorbed by the body, so the volume temporarily subsides slightly (this is normal).
• Weeks 4–8: Poly-DL-lactic acid continues to stimulate the regeneration of one's own collagen and elastic fibers, making the result become more naturally plump over time.
• Duration: The effect lasts on average 18 to 24 months, varying with individual constitution and lifestyle.

The Elf Needle is highly customizable and can be applied to different needs according to dilution ratio:

• Filling depressions: temples ("marriage palace"), cheek apples, tear troughs, hollow cheeks.
• Improving wrinkles: nasolabial folds, marionette lines, forehead lines, glabellar lines, neck lines.
• Contour sculpting: forehead plumping, jawline, whole-face lifting.

Physicians can achieve different layers of treatment effect according to different dilution ratios

• High concentration (immediate filling): Similar to hyaluronic acid, used for deep depressions (such as temples, nasolabial folds, cheek apples), providing immediate physical support.
• Low concentration (smoothing base layer): After dilution, used in the shallow subcutaneous layer to evenly stimulate collagen regeneration, improving fine lines, pores, and facial laxity.
• No massage needed: Unlike traditional baby-face needles, AestheFill usually does not require frequent post-treatment massage, making aftercare relatively easy.
• High safety: The ingredients are extracted from corn and potato, highly biocompatible, and can be naturally metabolized and degraded by the body.
• Diverse concentrations: Physicians can adjust the concentration according to the needs of the injection site, achieving large-area filling or fine-line detailing.

• No massage: The sphere structure is uniform and not prone to forming nodules (granulomas), eliminating the tedious post-treatment "555 massage" process.
• High safety: PDLLA is ultimately metabolized into carbon dioxide and water, and is approved by the US FDA and Taiwan's Ministry of Health and Welfare.

• Initial sensation: Within a few days after treatment, water is absorbed and the volume may temporarily subside slightly, which is normal.
• Recovery period: Mild swelling or bruising may occur after treatment, usually resolving within one week.
• Contraindications: Pregnant or breastfeeding women, those with severe immune diseases, those with coagulation disorders, and those with local skin allergies or infections are not advised to receive the injection.
