Rejuran® (PDRN)

Rejuran uses patented DOT™ technology to extract PDRN (polydeoxyribonucleotide) and PN (polynucleotide) from the sperm and seminal sacs of salmon from Korea's east coast. These ingredients are highly similar to human DNA and, through high-tech biological extraction and secondary refinement, achieve high purity and activity.

The main ingredients are PDRN (polydeoxyribonucleotide) and PN (polynucleotide). PDRN is a short-chain nucleotide with smaller molecules that can promote the skin's repair mechanisms, making it suitable for repairing superficial skin problems such as skin texture conditioning and localized damage repair; PN is a long-chain nucleotide with larger molecules and good supporting effects, able to act on fibroblasts to help improve skin elasticity and remodel skin structure, making skin firmer and more youthful.

Scientific research has demonstrated that Rejuran can significantly increase skin elasticity (+21.8%) and moisture (+14.7%), while improving acne, fine lines and skin texture, promoting wound healing, and restoring skin to a youthful, healthy state. Its product range covers skincare products, Skin Booster, water-light injections and more. Because of its natural, gentle, chemical-additive-free characteristics, it is known as the "salmon injection," "celebrity injection" and "Hermès water-light injection," able to condition skin efficiently, safely and gently.

Based on differences in ingredients, molecule size and use, there are the following three product types:

• Rejuran Healer series: Rejuran injectables come in four formulations: REJURAN® Healer (Rejuran black box), REJURAN® I (Rejuran white box), REJURAN® S (Rejuran blue box), and REJURAN® HB (Rejuran red box). With a larger molecular weight, they are suitable for deep injection, addressing each individual's different skin condition needs and comprehensively boosting skin vitality. (This Rejuran injectable has not yet been approved in Taiwan.)
• Rejuran Skin Booster: The Booster series is divided into two formulations, Skin Booster (Rejuran PDRN Repair Water-Light) and Tone-UP Booster (Rejuran PDRN White-Porcelain Water-Light). With a smaller molecular weight, they are minimally invasive water-light products of microneedle design, commonly used in mesotherapy such as roller-needling and microneedling. They are better suited to targeted skin repair, restoring skin health and radiance, conditioning specific superficial skin problems and skin texture, and meeting the beauty needs of most beauty-conscious people.
• Rejuran Medical Cosmetics: A skincare product series designed for different skin conditions, with a wide range of products such as moisturizing and soothing toners, serums and lotions — daily at-home care.

The Repair-type Rejuran combines four precious amino acids, C-PDRN, hyaluronic acid (HA) and amino acids, mainly targeting overall skin texture and moisture retention, and used to improve fine lines and pores. C-PDRN is currently a much-discussed ingredient in Korea; a DNA fragment extracted from salmon, it can improve sensitive skin, help repair damaged skin, promote new collagen, enhance skin elasticity, and at the same time soothe inflammation and accelerate the reduction of redness!

Recommended for dry skin, sensitive skin, mature skin, or those who wish to shorten the recovery period after aesthetic procedures.

The main ingredients of Rejuran Repair Water-Light include c-PDRN, hyaluronic acid (HA) and amino acids. Through c-PDRN it promotes cell repair and regeneration, paired with hyaluronic acid for efficient hydration, restoring skin elasticity and a refined texture — particularly suitable for sensitive and damaged skin conditions. Below are the key effects of Rejuran® Skin Booster (Rejuran PDRN Repair Water-Light):

• Repairs DNA and activates the skin's regeneration mechanism: the core ingredient polynucleotide (PN) can deeply repair damaged DNA, help cells return to normal function, restart cell activity, and accelerate the renewal and regeneration of skin tissue, making skin more refined and translucent with a healthy glow.
• Activates collagen mother cells, restoring elasticity and firmness: polynucleotide (PN) can activate collagen mother cells, promote the generation of collagen and elastic fibers, and improve skin elasticity and firmness, making skin look fuller and younger while effectively reducing fine lines and sagging.
• Powerful anti-inflammatory action, soothing sensitivity and redness: polynucleotide (PN) has strong anti-inflammatory and antioxidant capabilities, able to reduce skin inflammation, soothe redness, lower skin sensitivity and improve skin stability — particularly suitable for sensitive skin or the post-procedure recovery period.
• Deep hydration, enhancing the skin's moisture-locking ability: the combination of hyaluronic acid and amino acids helps the skin retain moisture long-term, while Rejuran repairs the skin structure, strengthens the barrier function and reduces moisture loss, keeping skin continuously hydrated and delicate.

The White-Porcelain Water-Light Rejuran combines a special powdered lyophilizate and liquid essence, C-PDRN, hyaluronic acid (HA), panthenol, glutathione, vitamin C, tranexamic acid and provitamin B5.

Besides strengthening the skin barrier function, it can also improve skin brightness, using 3 ingredients to maximize the whitening effect,

and soothes redness and combats inflammation. It is suitable for those with duller skin tone who want more brightening, or those with spots and uneven skin tone, as a countermeasure against photoaging. Recommended for rosacea-prone skin, spot-prone skin, or those who wish to restore bright, radiant skin.

Building on c-PDRN, Rejuran White-Porcelain Water-Light additionally adds glutathione, vitamin C and tranexamic acid. Through 3 whitening ingredients, it helps brighten skin tone and stabilize skin texture, while improving dullness and pigmentation caused by photoaging, making skin radiate a translucent glow. Below are the main effects of Rejuran® Tone-Up Booster (Rejuran PDRN White-Porcelain Water-Light):

• Inhibits melanin production and fades pigmentation: polydeoxyribonucleotide (PDRN) can reduce melanin production, and acting together with glutathione and vitamin C, it effectively improves melasma, pigmentation and uneven skin tone, making skin tone more even and refined.
• Strengthens the skin barrier and improves skin defenses: by boosting the extracellular matrix, repairing skin structure and enhancing the skin's defensive ability, it reduces damage from external irritation, increases skin water content and maintains a healthy, stable, hydrated state.

★ Microneedle RF combined with Rejuran

Suitable for: people who wish to improve sagging contours, increase skin elasticity, and enhance skin hydration and firming effects.

Treatment effects:

• Deeply firms the skin and lifts facial contour lines.

• Combined with Rejuran, effectively improves dryness, making skin hydrated and plump.

★ Picosecond honeycomb laser microneedling

Suitable for: people troubled by uneven skin tone, dullness, melanin deposits, fine lines or acne scars.

Treatment effects:

• Stimulates collagen regeneration and improves skin texture
• Helps fade spots and improve uneven skin tone, avoiding side effects such as rebound hyperpigmentation or inflammation.

★ RF/ultrasound combined with Rejuran

Suitable for: people who have just completed an RF/ultrasound treatment and seek rapid recovery and further enhancement of collagen stimulation.

Treatment effects:

• Accelerates skin recovery after RF/ultrasound treatment, reducing post-procedure redness, swelling and discomfort.
• Combined with Rejuran, effectively enhances skin elasticity and hydration.
• Helps skin recover to a healthy, smooth state faster, with longer-lasting effects

Rejuran has obtained Korea KFDA and EU CE approval; its ingredients are highly compatible with the human body, making it a quite safe facial care treatment.

About 1–2 weeks after a Rejuran treatment, you can feel the skin become hydrated and radiant; after 4–6 weeks fine lines gradually fade and pores become tighter; within 2–3 months collagen gradually proliferates and the skin overall becomes plump and regains elasticity.

Rejuran's effects can usually last more than 6 months, but this still varies with individual constitution, skincare and lifestyle habits. Combining it regularly with other treatments can achieve more pronounced and lasting effects; it is recommended that a physician give the most appropriate advice based on your skin condition.

The recovery period varies depending on the device the treatment is paired with. If treated together with a water-light injection, tiny needle holes or small bumps will appear at the treated area on the day of the procedure, which is normal. If Rejuran is used together with a laser device, there is no recovery period.

• Those with severe allergies, psychological disorders, cardiovascular disease, recent use of photosensitizing medications, or infection at the injection site require physician evaluation.
• If you are taking medication, pregnant or breastfeeding, please inform the physician in advance.
• If you have undergone surgery, had implants placed, or used fillers such as hyaluronic acid or calcium hydroxylapatite (Radiesse) within the past month, please inform in advance.
• Those taking ginseng, fish oil, ginkgo, aspirin, etc. may have an increased risk of bruising, but can still be treated safely.

• When combined with microneedling therapy, red spots or slight bruising may appear; these can be improved with ice packs and bruise-reducing cream.
• Strengthen hydration, mainly using low-sensitivity skincare products, and avoid products containing alcohol, acids or irritating ingredients.
• If there is redness, itching or sensitivity, apply a thin layer of anti-inflammatory ointment locally morning and night.
• Within one week, do not go to saunas, steam rooms or hot springs.
• After the procedure, take proper sun protection measures to protect the skin's repair results.
