Hyaluronic Acid Filler

The natural form of hyaluronic acid is actually liquid, and it is easily absorbed by the human body and lacks supporting structure. According to hyaluronic acid's "cross-linking composition method," it can be divided into the following three major categories:

1. Gel-type Hyaluronic Acid

Belonging to monophasic cross-linking, it has higher viscosity and a uniform gel state. 3. Flexible-type Hyaluronic Acid

Flexible-type hyaluronic acid, based mainly on "cross-linking chains," gives its originally soft nature added toughness, so that even when used in large-volume injections, very good results can be achieved.

Because of the difference in hyaluronic acid molecular size, the degree to which it penetrates the skin also differs. The smaller the molecule, the deeper it can penetrate the skin, but this does not mean that more small molecules is better — each has different effects and suitable areas. Large molecules are harder and more elastic hyaluronic acid; small molecules are softer and smoother hyaluronic acid. Let's look at the common application areas of hyaluronic acid:

Large Molecules

Strong supporting power, suitable for "refining contour lines or shaping the face," such as: depressions of the cheeks (apple muscles), temples, the "marriage palace" (upper outer brow area), cheekbones, nose, chin, cheeks, forehead, etc.

Medium Molecules

Small Molecules
