Radiesse® (CaHA)
The Regenerative Needle has been confirmed by international journals to be a [regenerative collagen-stimulating agent], composed of 30% CaHA microspheres and 70% CMC gel. Its main ingredient is uniform, smooth, round CaHA microspheres that form a regenerative aesthetic scaffold, activating fibroblasts and regenerating the dermis, while the CMC gel rapidly fills depressions, providing support, lifting, and tightening of the skin to achieve a natural filling effect and, over the long term, improving skin quality. The Regenerative Needle has a milky-white gel-like texture, possesses 100% biocompatibility and biodegradability, is not prone to deformation, does not remain in the body, and does not migrate. It has obtained international certifications including the US FDA, EU CE Mark, and Taiwan TFDA, is legally used in over 60 countries worldwide, has surpassed 10 million units in cumulative use, and has a clinical application history of over 25 years.

Common Myth: "The Regenerative Needle Is Not Bone Powder"!
The main ingredient of the Regenerative Needle is CaHA (calcium hydroxylapatite), composed of calcium ions and phosphate ions that already exist naturally in the human body, and it is a type of bioactive ceramic. Although similar in composition to human bone, it is not a hardening substance but rather biocompatible and biodegradable microspheres. After injection it does not calcify, harden, or remain; the touch is still soft and natural, with high safety.
5 Key Features of the Regenerative Needle
- Type I Collagen: Provides structural support for the skin, making contour lines more stable.
- Type III Collagen: Enhances the softness and resilience of the skin, smoothing fine lines.
- Elastin: Strengthens skin firmness and elastic recovery, improving sagging.
- Proteoglycan: Strengthens moisture retention, giving the skin more luster and a hydrated feel.
- Neovascularization: Promotes microcirculation, improves dullness, and maintains a healthy complexion.
Advantages of the Regenerative Needle
- Stimulates collagen proliferation, building elastic skin
Radiesse Regenerative Needle contains CaHA microspheres that can activate fibroblasts, triggering the regeneration of collagen and elastin, enhancing structural support from the deep skin layers to achieve tightening and elasticity improvement.
- Excellent shaping power, immediately noticeable
The filling effect is visible immediately after injection, especially suitable for areas requiring structural support and contour shaping such as the forehead, temples ("marriage palace"), chin, and nasolabial folds, enhancing facial three-dimensionality and proportions.
- High support, stable and non-migrating
Compared with traditional fillers, Radiesse has higher support and adhesion; after injection it is not prone to migration or deformation, the touch is naturally soft, and the effect is more stable.
- Long-lasting for about 12–18 months
Through the dual mechanism of immediate filling and long-term support, the effect of Radiesse can last about 12 to 18 months, accompanied by continuous improvement of skin texture.
- Good biocompatibility, natural touch
The Regenerative Needle is composed of degradable CaHA microspheres and a gel carrier; it will not harden, calcify, or remain. The touch remains smooth and natural, and its safety and stability have been internationally verified.
Characteristics of Radiesse's CaHA Microspheres
Radiesse's CaHA microsphere particles are "uniform in size and smooth on the surface." This means it follows the "tissue regeneration" pathway, not the "chronic inflammation" pathway. (Irregular or rough particles may cause fibrosis or nodules; Radiesse does not.)
Skin Regeneration Steps
- Immediate filling and support: After the CMC gel is injected, it rapidly fills depressions; contours appear instantly with a visually plump effect.
- Building the scaffold framework: CaHA microspheres bond with tissue, providing stable support resistant to deformation.
- Activating collagen regeneration: Activates fibroblasts, promoting continuous generation of collagen and elastin.
- Long-lasting firmness: After the CMC gel is metabolized, newly generated collagen naturally takes over support, extending elasticity and firmness.
- Natural metabolism and absorption: CaHA is eventually absorbed by the body, leaving behind a truly regenerated skin structure and three-dimensional contour.
Pre-Treatment Precautions
- Avoid smoking and drinking alcohol for one week before treatment, to avoid affecting blood clotting function and increasing swelling.
- Avoid using anticoagulants (such as aspirin, fish oil, vitamin E, etc.) for one week before treatment, to reduce the risk of bruising.
- Avoid excessive sun exposure for one week before treatment, and pause the use of irritating skincare products containing acids (such as retinoic acid, fruit acid) or exfoliants.
- On the day of treatment, avoid wearing makeup or using irritating skincare products, and keep the skin clean.
- Those who have received permanent fillers or implants (such as artificial thread lifts) need to have the site and layer evaluated by a physician.
- Those who have undergone treatments such as hyaluronic acid, botulinum toxin, or thread embedding need to have the interval time evaluated by a physician.
- If you have recently undergone treatments such as laser, fruit acid peeling, or exfoliation, an interval of at least 1 week is recommended.
- Those with a keloid-prone constitution or a history of scar hyperplasia are advised to be evaluated by a physician.
- If you have any chronic disease, medication history, or allergy history, be sure to proactively inform us beforehand.
👉 Friendly reminder: Injection site and dosage must be tailored and evaluated Because the Regenerative Needle contains a calcium component (CaHA microspheres) and has a certain weight compared with hyaluronic acid, if injected into an inappropriate sagging area, it may cause a visual sagging or heavy sensation. Therefore, it is not recommended to inject in facial areas that are loose or prone to drooping.
Before the treatment, be sure to thoroughly discuss with the physician the "injection site, injection layer, shaping goals, and expected results," to avoid a gap between expectations and your own conditions.
